Obará had nothing left to eat in his house, so he asked his wife to prepare the pumpkins. When they were opened, inside were precious jewels and lots of gold.

A long time later, Ejilaxeborá and his brothers went to Babalaô to ask for help. When they got there, they saw a beautiful prince: Obará.

Later, Babalaô told them what was inside the pumpkins. The brothers were angry and wanted the pumpkins back. So, Obará gave them to them, but he emptied them beforehand and said: Here they are, my brothers, the pumpkins you gave me to eat. Now, it's you who will eat them!
