Do you know Karuna Reiki?

Reiki is known to be a technique where the individual undergoes a session that channels energy through the hands which, according to the Japanese, is the energy connection that connects us as matter. It is a way to promote healing, wellness and alignment of the chakras, which are responsible for our physical, mental and spiritual health.

However, when we talk about Karuna, which has a meaning more focused on evolution and the exercise of compassion, we leave this process much more personal. Thus, the Karuna Reiki is the energetic search for personal evolution. It seeks to work, primarily, the emotional conflicts of each individual, which is the basis for every being.

Understanding more about Karuna Reiki

Contrary to what it may seem, Karuna Reiki can be done in various ways, but it is essential to understand, first of all, how to access this space and what are the correct means for this. Performed the right way, Karuna Reiki can assist in pain relief and even in the healing process. Check out now a little more about this type of Reiki, its history and the benefits thatBring it!

What is Karuna Reiki?

Generally speaking, Karuna Reiki is a vibrational approach that operates as an integrated system. It is usually more intense than the popular Usui Reiki. Within the Karuna space, induction into meditation with Ascended Masters, Angels and Archangels takes place.

There is not, however, one single type of Karuna Reiki, as it can be worked with for various functions. For example, the vibrational field that a person uses to work with forgiveness and the guilt they feel is different from that used to access traumas and memories, as they are not the same and require different care.

History

Being much more recent than Reiki, which appeared in 1922, the Karuna branch was only developed in 1995 by Master William Lee Rand, along with some students. The central idea of the technique is to promote compassion and the building of One, which is the concept of the unity of the Whole. We are One.

The logic is simple: if I am the whole and the whole is me, in order for me to forgive the whole, I must forgive myself. In order for me to treat the whole, I must treat myself. In order for me to heal the whole, I must heal myself. The concept of Karuna comes from Buddhism, which is the philosophy that seeks to lead and has guided many beings who have already reached enlightenment.

Fundamentals and how it works

The primary fundamentals of Karuna Reiki are to connect and heal the whole energy field with compassion. That is, to feel Karuna for all who are open to that compassion it symbolizes. Once you are ready to connect with the whole and feel compassion for the other, that other must be open to feel compassion for you, because we are One.

And, for this to work, a series of rituals are performed involving the hands, which is the great catalyst center of this universal energy. In addition, the meditations and the instruments used are of utmost importance in the construction of Karuna in its purest form.

Benefits

When we talk about chakra alignment, we talk about one of the greatest benefits within the Eastern spiritual culture. And it is exactly in this line that Karuna Reiki works. The promotion of chakra balance is done through meditation.

Each chakra is responsible for an energetic point in the body, being: the basic chakra, called Muladhara, the sacral chakra, known as Svadhisthana; the umbilical chakra, Manipura, the heart chakra, called Anahata, the one responsible for the larynx, Vishuddha, the frontal, Ajna and, finally, the crown chakra, Sahasrara.

Differences between Karuna Reiki and Usui Reiki

At first, Karuna Reiki and Usui Reiki are very similar, since their entire theoretical basis is very close and, in the construction of these health modalities, both creators had connections.

However, the biggest difference is in the symbols used for the practices, since Karuna Reiki uses some signs of various lines within Reiki, including Usui himself. In general, Karuna Reiki follows the paths of Usui, but in the end, proposes an expansion to another part, being, in this way, different, although they aim at the well-being of the individual and the One.

Karuna Reiki Levels

Unlike what people think, Karuna Reiki and Usui Reiki are not parts of the same system and neither is one more powerful than the other, on the contrary. It is erroneous to think that they are also opposed. They are just different, they start similarly and then break down in different ways.

And, within Karuna Reiki there are levels to be reached. Read on to learn more about each stage and how they are performed!

Beginner

At the first level, the student should be instructed to care and to encourage himself to talk and reflect about what he feels. It is the first space of the self. At this stage, he should be aware of what he feels, his pains and all the baggage he carries as an individual.

Yes, he is part of a whole, but this whole still seems very nebulous when one does not even understand what one feels, clearly. From there, he receives some specific symbols and meditations to deal with this great front, the self.

Intermediate

The second level is the intermediate one, which begins its experimentation to understand the self that is we. It is already more aware of what it feels like as an individual and is already able to discern things more clearly when it goes to meet the larger version of who it is, the we self.

In this stage his vibrational symbols increase exponentially and he receives access to several other meditations and healing processes. Here the student already knows what he needs to know, but is still in a phase of exploration, of knowing his own power.

Advanced

When we talk about someone in an advanced level of Karuna Reiki, we are talking about a master. That's right, this is the highest level within this occult science. At this point, you already know your power and know how to use it.

Here all the symbols are already arranged for use, including the Master Symbol, which is the greatest among the other symbols, being the knower of all the meditation techniques and all the facilities that learning brings.

Symbols of Level 1 Karuna Reiki

The first level of Karuna Reiki works with some symbols to deal with various niches within your life. They are diverse, since human life has many fronts, it is very diverse. Some of the best known are: Zonar, Halu, Harth, Rama, Gnosa, Kriya, Iava, Shanti and AUM, known as the master's symbol.

Read on to learn more about the symbols, how they assist and when they are hit by Karuna Reiki students!

Symbol Zonar

The Zonar is the primordial symbol within the Karuna energy. It would be a kind of path for channeling and understanding all our pain and anguish as carnal beings. With its symbol drawn on the hands, the Zonar is a kind of third vision.

It brings the notion of infinity so that the patient understands that he is part of the whole. His pains are his and ours, because we are the whole. The drawing brings a kind of Z, cut with an infinity symbol, which symbolizes all the greatness of Karuna Reiki.

Halu Symbol

After performing the Zonar, the patient is taken to the Halu which is the second great symbol of Karuna Reiki, which literally means love, truth and beauty. Some understand it as harmony. It raises consciousness based on love and teaches us that, loving the self and the we, which are One.

In general, with the symbol drawn, healing takes place through a vibratory pattern that reduces the negative energies and blockages that our mind creates. The Halu makes you learn to deal with your traits, positive or not, and embrace them. You are not perfect and this is fundamental for us to be great.

Harth symbol

Being the third symbol within Karuna Reiki, Harth symbolizes, besides everything that the other two bring, such as love, truth and infinity, balance. At this stage of the process, it is the beginning of the development of the capacity for compassion. This is because it is understood that the patient, at this point, has already understood who he is, where it hurts and what he needs to accept.

It is the beginning of the development of what is meant by genuine happiness, the acceptance of love, to love without blame the other and myself, who are the whole, who are the One. Harth acts, primarily, in the heart chakra.

Rama symbol

Rama brings a notion of rootedness and sense of direction, symbolizing North, South, East, West, Up and Down. It is used to make us aware of the space we are and have. Knowing the self, the next step is to know the here.

Rama is used during the sessions in several cases, especially when the patient seems disoriented, without direction. We don't always get lost only physically. Our soul also needs direction, as when we don't know the route and we use a GPS. And this is exactly the importance of Rama in Karuna Reiki.

Gnosa Symbol

The symbol of Gnosa already belongs to the second level of Karuna Reiki and generally symbolizes the expansion of knowledge. It takes care of Vishuddha, the chakra responsible for the part of the larynx, which promotes speech.

The search for knowledge is important within Karuna and, moreover, it is used for the construction of everything we understand as the world. However, Gnosa is not only used for this, but for the increase of memory, creativity, time control and other many other needs that the mind always wants to improve.

Kriya symbol

Also part of the second level of Karuna Reiki, the Kriya is a great symbol, since it is the one that induces clarity of mind to, mainly, define plans and goals. It helps in understanding the wills and how these new metrics of success should be made.

The logic is simple: in this part of the treatment, the patient already understands who he is, where it hurts, where he is and what he needs to know to be happy and well. With all this 'power' in hands, Kriya arrives to channel in something that will be useful and truly good for the life of who seeks for this enlightenment.

Iava Symbol (EE-AH-VAH)

The third symbol of the second stage of Karuna Reiki is known as Iava. It represents the 4 elements and how all of these, in a combined and rhythmic way, connect in the great purpose that is us. Together, these elements were another element, spirit.

This is the symbol of change, ending the misconception of things and illusions, even the ones we consider silly and even innocent. Moreover, this symbol protects us from negative influences, showing that nature is relentless in fighting bad things for mind, body and soul.

Shanti symbol

Shanti literally means peace. It is the highest before the Master Symbol. This peace is the result of all the processes up to the moment. You are at peace if you understand the past, your pains, the place, the world, outline dreams and understand how you can make them work.

In addition, the Shanti symbol is used to harmonize various niches in life. It helps to deal with the past, align our present and develop the future. It is used to cure insomnia and nightmares. The chakra responsible for it is the frontal Ajna chakra.

Master Symbol AUM (OM)

Contrary to what it may seem, the master symbol OM is not something secret that only the great masters have access to. No, it is known and disseminated in Reiki, whether Karuna or not. And everyone can use it. However, only the masters will know how to use it masterfully.

It takes experience and much wisdom to make sure that OM is in the right vibration, aligning all the other symbols so that they are coordinated, each one to its function. The OM of the master is the golden key for the whole process to have been fruitful and, mainly, to have been achieved. OM is the universal self communicating in a single vibration.

Further information about Karuna Reiki

Except the processes, there is some necessary information about Karuna Reiki and how it is performed. As it works with something that people aim for a lot, which is the power of the mind itself, it is very easy to fall for virtual scams in the intention of being attended by someone with experience.

Check now some tips about Karuna Reiki and how to make this trip even more fruitful and enjoyable!

When can one begin the practice of Karuna?

There is no certain age to start this practice. The more traditional schools prioritize older people, even because of life experience and awareness of the world that are necessary to better ground the content.

You also don't have to have gone through a major trauma that you want to alleviate with Karuna Reiki. Of course, if that's the case, it will help a lot in your experience as a person. But if you're just curious to know or see what a session is like, this is the ideal time for that.

How to learn Karuna Reiki?

Karuna Reiki can be learned in some schools and even by yourself, always prioritizing the symbols and understanding their importance in the configuration of the whole. A mentorship is advised, since with a teacher, the vision is always broadened and the capture of information may be a little greater.

What you should always keep in mind is respect for the process. The operating logic is like that from its inception for a reason. Don't skip steps, because one missed step could be the end of the build you would do.Be conscious.

Where to do and how much does a session cost?

There are specialized institutes in the practice of Reiki and its branches and, in the search for a treatment, one should look for these places. Some of them work with a more affordable price line, approximately R$70.00 per session.

The courses vary a lot in price, being able to be found some that cost in average R$200,00 and others that are close to R$1.000,00. It is important to know what you want with the course, because the most important process who executes is you.

When not to do Karuna Reiki?

Being a recommendation also in Reiki, one should not resort to Karuna Reiki with an open fracture, for example. Although both processes aid in the body's ability to regenerate, a fracture carries the risk of being fixed in the wrong place.

Karuna Reiki assists in healing from the internal to the external, but it is a gradual process and when you have a hospital emergency, it is necessary to look for a hospital. Attend to the process and how it should be developed.

Reiki or Karuna, which is the best option?

Even though they are part of the same front, both are very different from each other, since one works mostly with healing the body through the hands. The other, Karuna, promotes the harmonization of the body as a natural process of reconstruction and reconnection with the essence.

The foundation of both is the same, however, should be understood as very different processes. Reiki is a healing aimed at the physical, Karuna uses the physical to heal the soul. At some point, they are even complementary and help each other.
